in aid of the Clare branch of The Samaritans

8-a-side tournament organised by Mixed Bag United. Soccer players of all ages, male and female, all levels enjoy a knock out competition.
Proceeds to go to the Clare branch of The Samaritans. Trophy to be awarded to winners.

with Dara Molloy
Dara Molloy, celtic monk, priest and writer. His publications include 'Legends in the Landscape' and more recently 'The Globalisation of God'. He was co-founder of 'The Aisling' magazine. He lives on Inis Mor where he has created An Carraigh, a spiritual centre of pilgrimage and sacred ceremonies. We welcome Dara and are delighted to have him open this years Iniscealtra festival.
Also: New Choral work performed by the local 'Lough Derg Singers'.

Treasure Hunt
for all the family
You will be given a poem written by the Poet Eamon Prendegast which will hold all the clues you will need to find a series of very special Art Hearts hidden within the beautiful landscape of Mountshannon. These treasures will be auctioned to purchase life saving equipment for the residents and visitors of Mountshannon.
This promises to be a fun event, please assemble at the entrance of the Aistear at 1.30pm.

Green Fair and Fair Day Events
Hosted by members of CELT, The Irish Seed Savers Association, Craft Workers from the area and Birdwatch Ireland
Demonstrations, information and participatory workshops in a variety of traditional crafts including metal-work, stone carving, wood and willow skills and textiles. You can watch or join in the activities as well as enjoying delicious home baked food provided by Raheen Wood Steiner School.
