A newly created short play performed by young people from the area, on the theme of 'Seed Saving'. Directed by Pete Mullineaux, the play will an illuminating and thought provoking drama, which will be educational, uplifting and entertaining.

DEEP GREEN
An in depth talk about the ecological crisis and the call for personal Creative Action. Led by Brother Anthony (Glenstal Abbey) and other key speakers.

EXHIBITION OPENING

Official opening by Fiona Woods (North Clare Regional Arts Co-ordinator). An innovative exhibition of contemporary art from the East Clare area featuring sculpture, painting, print, ceramics, glass and photography on the festival theme. Wine reception - all welcome.

HARP EVENING

The Time of O'Carolan
An inspiring evening with renowned Harper / composer Janet Harbison. Through words and music, Janet explores the classical period of Irish music Ð 17th and 18th century, which peaked with the compositions of O'Carolan. Acknowledged as one of Ireland's most authoritative and prominent traditional harpers, Janet is founder member of the Grammy Awards Winning Irish Harp Orchestra and runs the Irish Harp Centre in Co. Limerick where she also teaches.
